Are our weed cartridges safe?
Absolutely! We take pride in ensuring all Eighty Six products meet the highest standards when it comes to product safety. For your peace of mind, each product has a Certificate of Analysis (COA). On that COA, you’ll find the Delta-8 concentration, Delta-9 concentration, and the full list of potential contaminants.
How is a Delta-8 cartridge different from a Delta-8 disposable?
While our single-use pens offer an all-in-one vaping experience, cartridges are designed to be used with a permanent device. Simply insert the cart into your own pen or battery, use until empty, then discard and replace the reservoir. The experience itself is a matter of preference, though our customers have said that disposable pens hit faster while vape cartridges are slower and smoother.
How long will a Delta-8 cartridge last?
This depends on several factors including your tolerance and your frequency of consuming. For a regular user, you can expect at least a full week before the cartridge runs empty. This translates to roughly 500 puffs, depending on the strength of your inhale. Cartridges cannot be refilled after use and must be discarded.
How much Delta-8 is in each cartridge?
The amount of Delta-8 in each cartridge varies by batch. On average, our vape cartridges contain between 70 and 80% Delta-8 THC. To see the exact amount, refer to our Lab Reports.
What if my cartridge is leaking?
The last thing we want is for you to not experience the joy of Delta-8. If your cartridge is leaking, send us an email to cs@eightysixbrand.com and we’ll happily replace your cartridge, no questions asked.
What do I do if my cartridge is clogged?
A clogged cartridge is a common problem, given that Delta-8 distillate is a very viscous liquid. To avoid the situation altogether, ensure your cartridge is properly stored, taking extra precaution to store it upright and in a location where the temperature does not fluctuate too drastically. If the device is still clogged, please send us an email to cs@eightysixbrand.com and we’ll happily replace your cartridge, no questions asked.
What battery would you recommend for enjoying your Delta-8 vape cartridges?
The type of battery used to power your Delta-8 THC vape cartridge ultimately comes down to personal preference. Check out our dedicated page on our recommended vape battery types.
Are Delta-8 vapes available in different strains?
Yes. Just like Delta-9 vapes, Delta-8 carts come in your favorite indica, sativa, and hybrid strains. At Eighty Six, we pride ourselves on offering the most unique blends, strains, and flavors on the market. If you love the relaxing effects of indica or the super-energizing vibes of sativa, then Eighty Six has a Delta-8 vape perfect for you. We also offer Delta-8 in popular hybrid strains for those who like a mix of indica and sativa energy.
Does vaping Delta-8 make you cough?
Vaping tends to be gentler on your throat than smoking dried cannabis or hemp flower. This is because you are not burning the flower and inhaling smoke. Instead, you’re converting Delta-8 liquid concentrate into vapor and inhaling that. Eighty Six only uses the most advanced vape technology and pure hemp distillates, so our vapes hit super smooth every time. That said, the best way to avoid coughing is to start with slow, shallow hits. If you inhale the vapor deeply into your lungs and hold it in for a longer period of time, you’re more likely to cough. You will also feel the effects more strongly when you vape that way.
Will other people be able to tell I'm vaping Delta-8?
One of the best things about vaping Delta-8 carts is their discreteness. Our Delta-8 vapes are filled with pure Delta-8 distillate and natural botanical terpenes that smell like citrus fruit and other plants. When you exhale a cloud of Delta-8 vapor, it doesn’t smell like weed. People passing by can’t tell if you’re vaping tobacco, Delta-8, Delta-9, or any other hemp extract. If you prefer to vibe on the down low, these vapes are perfect for you.
Is Delta-8 legal?
All of our products are derived from hemp plants grown in the US. None of our hemp extracts contain more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC, which makes them federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. However, each state has its own laws regarding hemp distillates and concentrates. Check our handy map page to see if Eighty Six can ship to your state before ordering from us.
How are the effects of a Delta-8 vape different from Delta-9 THC?
Both Delta-8 and Delta-9 are cannabinoids that occur naturally in cannabis and hemp plants. Similar to another popular cannabinoid, CBD, they each affect the body differently. Delta-8 does not contain the same psychoactive properties that cause you to feel ‘high’ as Delta-9 does. Delta-8 also binds more closely with the cannabinoid receptors in the body, while Delta-9 goes straight to the receptors in the brain. This means Delta-8 offers similar benefits to Delta-9, such as a sense of euphoria and relaxation, but with more mental clarity and focus. Many people claim that both help with certain medical conditions and tend to use Delta-8 during the day and Delta-9 at night.
