Hemp-Derived Delta-8 THC Explained
What is Delta-8?
If you’re here, you’ve probably encountered both the famous Delta-9 THC and CBD before, and you’re wondering what Delta-8 THC is and how to differentiate it from the rest. Why Specify “Hemp-Derived” Delta-8 THC?
Terminology is important! Hemp and marijuana are both subspecies of the cannabis plant, but only Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol that’s derived from hemp is legal.
The 2018 Farm Bill made it legal to produce and distribute hemp and its byproducts across the United States. For hemp to be considered legal, it must contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC.
In some states, it is still currently illegal to ship hemp-derived Delta-8 THC. Check our shipping policy for more details.View Our Lab Reports
